PARTNER Action Plans.

Once your community has decided on the walking and/or bicycling improvements they want to make, it's time to work with local leadership to pursue funding to implement that change.  See action plans communities have already developed using the PARTNER Toolkit and learn about opportunities for funding.

Developing Active Transportation Action Plans

The PARTNER team is working with coalitions in 12 Alabama communities with some of the highest obesity rates in the country to promote walking and cycling.  Through the PARTNER Toolkit, each community has drafted their own Active Transportation Action Plans with short, medium, and long term projects to improve walking and cycling safety and mobility within their community! These plans are very helpful to communicate your prioritized list of improvement projects with the benefits/goals of each.

The following communities have complete Action Plans:
Atmore (Escambia County)
Camden (Wilcox County)
Eufaula (Barbour County)
Eutaw (Greene County)
Evergreen (Conecuh County)

Hayneville (Lowndes County)
Linden (Marengo County)
Livingston (Sumter County)
Marion (Perry County)
Monroeville (Monroe County)
Selma (Dallas County)
Tuskegee (Macon County)
Union Springs (Bullock County)
